Paul and Mary Hanson have pursued their dream for over 25 years - to Photograph weddings. From their humble beginnings on Adams Street, Adams Street Photography has evolved into one of the premier wedding studios in the state of Minnesota. Paul was awarded "Minnesota Wedding Photographer of the Year" by an independent panel consisting of national judges.

 

Paul and Mary's Digitally Mastered wedding album was awarded „Minnesota Wedding Album of the Year, by another independent panel consisting of national judges.

 

Paul and Mary's style is 20% traditional and 80% photojournalism for an album that not only reflects the story of the day, but also contains fine art posing and lighting of groups and portraits. Because they are digital artists, they are able to produce "Digitally Mastered" albums and are also able to post all your photographs on the web for others to view.

 

They bring apprentice photographers to your wedding to assist you and to add another point of view to your wedding story. One year after your wedding album has been delivered, you will receive a disk of all of the pages in your album to safely store so your album could be reproduced in the event of casualty.

 

Both Paul and Mary have been listed in Who's Who in Professional Photography for over 20 years! They belong to Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers of America, Minnesota Professional Photographers, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. They co-founded Twin City Bridal Association and have been charter members from the onset.

 

Paul and Mary are educators who teach professional photography to other professionals and are recognized as one of the nation's photographic educators. They have both earned Masters Degrees from the University of Minnesota. In addition, Paul has earned the degree of Master Craftsman, a degree which is held by less than 5% of all professional photographers in the nation. Their studio is conveniently located in Plymouth, just north of Ridgedale.
