Breast cancer has a way of turning your entire world completely upside down. When cancer strikes, turning hopelessness into hope is a way to cope. Twin City Bridal Association is proud to present the Love Is A Cure Breast Cancer Benefit, to give women living with breast cancer hope.

Every two minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer. This year it is estimated that over 200,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed, along with 58,000 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. And 40,000 women are expected to die from this disease. Breast cancer is the leading cancer among white and African American women. Breast cancer incidence in women has increased from one in 20 in 1960 to one in eight today.

the Love Is A Cure Breast Cancer Benefit has raised over $60,000 with local support from the wedding industry and couples planning their weddings. “Love Is A Cure improves the quality of life for women facing the terrible reality of fighting breast cancer and we are very excited to work on such a meaningful endeavor” said The Wedding Guys. "We wanted to partner with just the right cause and were surprised that nothing was being done in the local wedding industry to assist a charity. With so much money going to research we were very excited about Open Arms’ outreach to those living with breast cancer. We concentrate so hard on finding a cure and we forget about those who continue to struggle fighting the battle on a daily basis. It seemed like a no-brainer – a perfect fit! A brides’ love, our love and passion for the wedding industry along with that of our clients allows the Love Is A Cure Breast Cancer Benefit to be a perfect marriage!”

Love Is A Cure Breast Cancer Benefit – is a powerful and positive vehicle for helping women and their families going through breast cancer. Benefiting Open Arms of Minnesota, 100% of the proceeds from The Love Is A Cure Breast Cancer Benefit goes to providing home meal delivery to those living with breast cancer. Since 2005 the $60,000 raised has provided over 8,000 home meal deliveries to women fighting this disease.
